Behind NOT telling a driver who mounted a curb and lost his wife and currently has a kid in ICU, 'hey man, this could have been avoided. You shouldn't have been driving so fast. You shouldn't have let the child sit in front.'
Behind NOT telling the mother who let her kid into the gorilla pen, 'hey man, you should have watched your kid closer. Your kid should have died instead of that endangered gorilla species.'
Behind NOT pointing out the thousand and one things wrong with each other and not expressing our opinions on what they could have done to be better, not telling them our opinions on why they are so darned wrong, and not insisting why in that situation we would have done so much better.
We believe our opinions are of value, we believe ourselves to be extremely entitled to have opinions and we believe we ought to air them like laundry flapping on a line for the betterment of society.

And the tongue is a fire, the very world of iniquity; the tongue is set among our members as that which defiles the entire body, and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell. For every species of beasts and birds, of reptiles and creatures of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by the human race. But no one can tame the tongue; it is a restless evil and full of deadly poison.
