I think deep in everyone we know that as shrek wisely said, people come in layers, like an onion.
Even the closest friends you know have layers to them.
Circumstances bring people together and also drive them apart.

We are all trying. Trying to find our place at work, amongst friends. Or have we found it already?
Some are so determined to establish, some are determined to drift, some try to be good but there is usually a shadow.

Can we conclude that man is born evil? Can we conclude that without God we are nothing, our efforts are futile? Without God no one can be pure?

Are we ever going to stop trusting ourselves to believe that God is the only worthy object of our desires and admiration? Or are we satisfied with the lives that we have managed to craft out for ourself?
