things are in reverse. People used to listen to pop songs about love. There are albums complied from that era that are titled along the lines of 'The Greatest Love Songs" etc etc. Nowadays the pop we listen to is all about breakup. Adele, Christina Perri... It's no wonder that even the young are cynical about love. There is just such a lack of purity, in something was meant to be so beautiful, that it has become something to look at with great skepticism. Love? Yea right.
