A journey called life

Dear Bloggy,

I went swimming yesterday in an attempt to burn off all the calories I've been stuffing myself with, in the very same pool where i once tried to re-enact one of the most famous blibical miracles of Jesus walking on water, albeit by means that physics deemed impossible (I just ran as fast as i could from land to water). Swimming's one of those activities that let your thoughts wonder. I was ploughing through the waters as fast as i could while my horrible imagination wrecked havoc; ghastly images of women with long scraggly hair and deformed faces, courtesy of all those horror movies i've watched. And for some reason or other i was able to delve into the deepest yet most fundamental thoughts that i normally fail to have because of my tendency to stray from any remotely philosophical thought to the simple 'what're-we-having-for-dinner' thought.

Let me introduce you to my version of the psychodynamic perspective. My psychosocial stages are a little more simplified than Erikson's or Freud's... written more like the humble student i am rather than a dignified psychologist. THis enables me to create stages that they deign to use.

    tsktsk bad planning there :P

btw without your non-relevant s**-hood, your life stages would meet a dead end at careerhood :P
