if it boosts your self confidence, try looking in a small pocket mirror hourly and forming your mouth into an ovalish shape before letting the consonents and vowels flow naturally from your mouth. This action becomes almost instinctive after a few days of practise.
Also notice how Carol sounds MUCH BETTER than stick insect.
